Welcome to Arc & Iris! Let us tell you a little bit about who we are.

Our Story

You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you know you've bought the perfect gift? Or the special feeling you get when you know someone has put effort into your gift? We want everyone to experience that. That's why in 2022 we formed Arc & Iris and made it our mission to help connect people through great gifting.
The words arc and iris both mean 'rainbow' in other languages and we believe a rainbow is representative of a connection or bridge from one place to another, or, one person to another. For us, that bridge can be a gift.
Humans give gifts for a variety of reasons such as birthdays, for 'congratulations' or an 'I'm sorry'. If you explore a bit deeper, you'll see that the main underlying factor of every gift is to form, keep or grow a connection between the gift giver and the gift receiver. Ultimately, the 'Arc & Iris'.

'I love a sunburnt country...'

When our founder's grandparents migrated to Australia in the 1950s, they came in search of opportunity and prosperity for their growing family. Australia allowed them to achieve everything they wanted for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. For Australia to continue to allow other families to prosper like they did, we believe it is important to support Australian small business, because behind every small business is a hardworking family.
At Arc & Iris, the focus is on Australian Owned and Australia Made. Celebrating Australian business back to Australians. Our aim to stock as many Australian owned products as possible to ensure Australian families continue to have the same, if not better, opportunities and future.

Giving back to the Community

You've probably noticed Arc & Iris is all about giving, and that's why we also aim to help give back to the community who needs it. 
As parents, we couldn't imagine not having everything we needed to welcome a new baby. That's why 5% of every order is donated to St. Kilda Mums. If you haven't heard of them before, they do an amazing job providing the essentials to families in need. They re-home the generous donations from the general public of nursery and children's goods as well as purchase new items for families from monetary donations. 
Every child deserves a safe arrival into this would and we thank you for every order that helps contribute to this important cause. 

Looking after the Environment

Every little bit helps when it comes to help delaying climate change and protecting our planet for future generations. At Arc & Iris we do our bit by using recyclable and reusable gift boxes and compostable mailing bags. We also strive to offer gifts that are practical and durable in an attempt to avoid them ending up in landfill like those imported plastic novelty toys in the big stores.
